Brighter Days Ahead

Morning  fellow bloggers and welcome
today.

Well yesterday went progressively down hill from the morning....
so much for waiting for the 3rd thing to go wrong....

Something I sold via a well know auction site has not arrived.
However to try and chase via Royal Mail
I have to wait 15 working days for time of posting that now makes it the 26th May before I can make a claim. Then it will take a further 30 days !!!..and this is for 1st Class post.

Wish I had paid out the
extra for signed for delivery but the "customer" did not want to pay it.

Think there may be a moral to this story....just got to think about it.

Then there were several other things going wrong - my raspberry canes have died!!!

But on a good note here is my card for today which I made yesterday
in between all the problems.....

I used a large embossing folder by Sheena Douglas on white card stock,
inked up with yellow, orange, and a hint of pink.

Then stamped using Clarity Stamps the foreground in black
ink. Adding birds across the "sun"

Cut the "sun" down and mounted onto to a card blank
having used raspberry ink to colour it first.

Final step add a thank you  Sentiment.

I would like to enter it for the following

Thank you for popping over and I would like to say
a big thank you to everyone who commented yesterday
about Mum and her fall.

It is such a worry when I live 250 miles away, and she is
recovering from a stroke. Her memory is "shot" but I am
thankful that she is "doing" ok. And she has some lovely
full time carers who live in.

Takes a lot of worry off my shoulders.

And a warm welcome to Erika
thank you for becoming my latest follower on my
journey.

Its raining now and glad I popped out into the garden and check on those runner beans -
coming up now, and planted a couple of marrow plants out in the ground
so the rain will do them good.

Time for a cuppa now.

So bye and see you again soon
